DESCRIPTION:The National Cochlear Implant Users Association (NCIUA) will be holding its next Summer Meeting & AGM \non Saturday 15 June 2024 at the  NCVO\, Regents Wharf\, 8 All Saints Street\, London N1 9RL \nThere will be presentations of the work at Cambridge University on improving the listening experience of music. \nTerry Murphy from Phonak will be bringing us up-to-date on Auracast which promises to revolutionise accessibility to hearing for the hearing aid and cochlear implant users.\nIt is a development of Bluetooth that gives better quality sound and many more possibilities than the hearing loop we are accustomed to. \nApplication to attend may be made by completing the Booking Form \n.Directions \n10 minutes walk King’s Cross and St Pancras Stations.\nNearest stop for buses 17\, 91\, 259: Killick Street/Caledonian Road\, stop K going north\, S going south. \nFor further information please contact Ray Glover via email secretary@nciua.org.uk
